Welcome to HerenEdit

Stage1-0
The city is foreign to you - a maze of streets and people and noise. Fenn is an able guide and without his aid, you know this would be a fool's errand. Perhaps you should have sought out the Fae and Rima would have better luck here.

The General is a battle worn soldier who now seems stuck in a conflict he cannot win - shuffling paper from one side of his desk to the other. He seems glad to see you.

"One of my best men went missing while investigating reports of demonic nonsense in the catacombs below the city. If you can bring me some proof of this cult, you'll have me on your side. Take this map."

Enter the CatacombsEdit

Fenn bg

You need to enlist the aid of the Protector General and if the best way to do that is to venture into the catacombs below Heren and find this missing Royal Eye, then that's what you'll do.

"At least we won't be wandering the streets of Heren," remarks Fenn.

Not a bad point you think to yourself. Whatever lies below the city can be fought with blade and barrel unlike all manner of miscreant filling the streets above. A little less law and a little more luck has always suited your taste.

You notice the glow from Fenn's lantern as you enter the alley behind the Ministry of the Protectorate and descend the chiseled stone stairs noted as an entrance on the hastily scribbled map given to you by the Protector General.
